More than Enough Academy
Over 30 Years of Hospitality Experience
More than Enough was established to provide education and training to marginalized women and empower them to obtain employment and a more fulfilled life. We are partnering with area women’s domestic violence shelters, female veteran organizations and support programs to create a culinary training program for the women they serve. The program is designed to empower its participants to start a new career in the hospitality industry. Our 160 hour, eight-week course will instruct each student to understand the basic principles and standard procedures of successfully working as a line cook in a commercial kitchen.
This endeavor will take advantage of the skills and network resulting from over thirty years of staffing experience in the St. Louis market that both Cindy Breth and husband, Doug Risch, have accumulated. Additionally, the contacts from Martin-O’Neill Group and previous non-profit program participation will aid in surrounding MTE with the people and talent needed to make a difference in our community.
One of the many exciting aspects of the program will be partnering with the temporary hospitality and special event staffing firm, DMR Events, founded by Doug Risch. Which will allow us to offer immediate employment options to our graduates. Many of the corporate environments they will be temporarily assigned to will offer the opportunity of long term, direct hire employment.
